About GremlinsGold!
In 1997, GremlinsGold.com was known as Solution123.com and was still searching its vocation. A year later (1998), Eric
Audet (founder) decided to create a game that was supposed to replace any text mud out there. It was called BARP, now known
as
BARPonline.com (still available). This game was a
huge project, one that took attention for 3 to 4 years and was in no way
profitable. However, the knowledge learned from such a project has been the starting point for more and better games. The
game was made open source in 2002. The main game domain was sold to Tony Lewis in 2007 (who had been working on it since
2002).
Early in 2001, Solution123.com decided to create a new game on the Internet that we wanted
turned based (on a daily basis). The Arena (v1), now known as RomanArena (v2), became popular inside a few weeks
and in September 2001, it was one of the most visited game online (for a few years).
GremlinsGold.com (since 2004) is dedicated to create fun and interactive games on the Internet. We have
created
multiple games similar to RomanArena in 2002, 2003 and 2004. Upgrades and development on RomanArena V2 were finished
in
2006. In 2007 and 2008, we've created CeasarsArena. In 2009, RomanArena V3 will include all the best from all of our creations. It will be a
big success.
We also have more projects on hold such as "Realms fighting each others" and "Pirates sailing the ocean and fighting
each others". These games have been through alpha testing but are yet to be completed.
The success of GremlinsGold.com's games is due in big part because of players. We keep evolving the
game the way players want it to evolve. All the credits goes to them. (Complaints can also go to them.)
And, the best is yet to come!
